Mescalito Sonata

(For two pianos.)

TThis work was completed in 1973 while I was an undergraduate at the University of New Mexico.  It is in four movements:

I. Entering the Land of Mescalito

II. The Nagual's Expanding Lights

III. Skeleton Dance With Don Genaro

IV. A Coyote Teaches Me to Dance In the Sky

It was premiered in April 1974 by pianists Dorenda Morris and Colleen Sheinberg.
